During the Troup Community Food Pantry's drive-thru distribution every Thursday from 4 PM to 6 PM, clients receive food with ease and efficiency. Upon arrival, clients drive up and present their pantry-issued client ID card, which is scanned to log their weekly food assistance. Volunteers from the pantry warmly assist by bringing the allocated food directly to the clients' cars and loading it for them. This convenient system ensures that clients can receive food support once a week in a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment.

Clients will know if they qualify for assistance through specific eligibility criteria. To qualify, clients must reside within the 75789-zip code. They may be eligible based on receipt of government assistance programs such as TANF, SNAP, or SSI, or due to their income level. Additionally, certain crisis situations may also qualify clients for assistance. 

 

When applying online, clients need to provide the following information:

• Names and dates of birth for all household members.

• Total income of all individuals living in the household.

• Current address.

• Phone number.

• Types of government assistance received.

• If in a crisis situation, list the type of crisis.
